APRIL : Beer and wine sampling from 20 local brewers and wineries , hot and hearty apps , and fun raffle prizes . 100 % of ticket sales go to fund scholarships .
SEPTEMBER : Bring a team to this night of bowling , food , and prizes , to fundraise for our efforts in teacher recognition , student support , and more .
NOVEMBER : A day of development , shopping , connections , inspiration , prizes , treats and more . We have motivational speakers and a local business expo .

Bob Curtis Agency Farmers Insurance
Bob Curtis has been a nearly 20-year volunteer with the Chamber – serving on the Board of Directors ( 2014 Board Chair ), Ambassador Committee , and the Chamber ’ s Foundation Board of Directors ( 2018-2020 President ) – whose mission is to support education and workforce development through scholarships and grants .
In addition to all that he has given to the business community , and twenty years in the Knights of Columbus , he has also volunteered his time and talents with March of Dimes , Lakeville Fastpitch Softball and All Saints Church and School . Since his girls started playing in Volleyball and Softball he has been at some level of coaching .
Faith and family play a strong role in Bob ’ s life . His wife of 22 years , Gail , has been there since day one of the agency . Bob and Gail are members of All Saints
Catholic Church , and he has volunteered for many of their initiatives throughout the years – including Student Advisory Council , Dinner on the Hill , and the creation of the All Saints school booster club . One of his favorite volunteer duties , that started when daughters Izzy and Alli attended the school , was to help with lunch duty on Fridays - something he continues to this day .
Bob credits his amazing staff for being able to hold down the office while he attends networking events , ribbon cuttings and his daughters ’ school activities . He also credits his parents with the philosophy that the more you give , the more you receive . He continues to make his mark in the Lakeville community and the Lakeville Chamber is proud to recognize and honor his legacy .
