Learn to Knit
Learn to knit a simple scarf. Explore the knitting
process with other first-timers. You will learn
how to cast on, knit, purl and then bind off. We
will begin by using large needles and beautiful
chunky yarns.
YOUTH ART CLASSES
Kids Clay Workshops
Starting with a clay slab, we will add fun
textures, embellishments and glaze in bright
shiny colors. Each workshop meets twice, once
to make the featured handbuilding project and
another to glaze.
Homeschool Art Sampler
Try your hand at a variety of art forms and
see what you enjoy most! Sample studio art
projects in pottery, painting, drawing, print and
sculpture.
Kids Acrylic Painting
Create instructor-led paintings with a variety
of subject matters. This is a great class for
introducing your child to a wonderful life-long
hobby of painting.
Kids Wheel Throwing
We offer a variety of opportunities for kids
to learn how to throw on the wheel. In each
class, students will create a variety of handthrown
pots complete with a glazed finish. No
experience necessary.
Family Preschool Art
Make the art mess here! This is a great way for
parents, grandparents or a caregiver to explore
a variety of art materials with the child in their
life. Experience new textures, improve fine
motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group
setting.
