Please report any hazards observed to the LLA office , including unusual ground surfaces ( tree stumps , large rocks , exposed concrete footings ), sharp points and edges from playground equipment , and lose guardrails and barriers on elevated surfaces . way to communicate when on trails , and have an emergency plan just in case . Please know your limits and pay attention to your body ’ s signals when recreating . Do not forget to take breaks if needed .
Remember , the esplanade is to be used as a trail . It is for pedestrians and bicycles only , and the following are prohibited : loitering , congregating , fishing , jumping , diving , and motorized vehicles .

The majority of LLA trails are best for walking , biking , and running . Golf cart accessible trails are notated on the digital trail map with trail pins , descriptions , and completely accessible trails for golf carts are noted in the dropdown menu .
