LakeTalk Reading Options LLA provides a digital edition available to all Members and no longer provides a printed physical copy to those who subscribe . The digital version is uploaded to the file library and posted as an announcement in your Member Account every month . Members with an email address on file will receive an email notification with a link to the magazine-style digital version . Please note , all Members without an email address on file will not receive the digital LakeTalk , and will need to download the PDF .
Condo Control Info & App Updates Members should keep their information up to date in the Condo Control Member Portal , including emails and phone numbers . This allows members to be notified of the latest news and alerts from LLA . For the Condo Control mobile app , it is recommended to have automatic updates turned on . Learn more on page 32 .
House Numbers Could Emergency Services find you if your life depended on it ? In an emergency , Fire , EMS , and Police depend on house numbers to find your residence as soon as possible . We know the community is vast . One turn can lead you to a street with similar looking houses in some villages and some villages have what seem like hidden drives off winding roads . Please ensure you have posted your home numbers following Frederick County and LLA requirements and codes .
Parking Reminder Cars should only park in areas intended for parking . Parking in or on the stormwater swale system could cause damage preventing proper flow of stormwater resulting in flooding . It could also damage the roadway edge , diminishing the integrity of the roadway substantially reducing its life expectancy .
Culvert Cleaning Working with your neighbors to keep culverts free of large amounts of debris will help avoid drainage issues during a weather event . Please do your best to maintain the culverts in front of your home .
LakeTalk Cover Photo Contest The annual LakeTalk cover photo contest is here ! Submit your high-resolution photos of the community to communications @ lakelinganore . org through December 15th for a chance to be featured on an upcoming LakeTalk cover ! Note : By submitting your photo ( s ) to LLA , you are allowing LLA to reprint and reuse the photo ( s ) in various media formats for an unlimited amount of uses over an indefinite time period . LLA has sole discretion to crop , edit , or otherwise enhance the images .
Deer Population Program The LLA Deer Management Program is scheduled for September through November this year . The program dates are TBD . Signage will be posted in common area while the program is underway . Any questions regarding to the program can be directed to Brett Hamilton at BHamilton @ lakelinganore . org .
Post Lamps Please check to ensure the post lamp on your property is in working order . When a post lamp is installed on any lot or attached to a living unit , the owner of such lot or living unit shall maintain it and light it from dusk to dawn and bear all costs .
