The Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors represents emerging leaders
within the community who are dedicated to
serving and investing in local businesses. The
chair position, held for a year, is the highest role
on the board. Over the years, individuals who
have held the position of chair of the board have
led the revitalization of downtown Lakeland,
introduced programs for local entrepreneurs,
and supported small businesses. A few of the
individuals who have held this role include
Ron Clark, Ford Heacock, Maureen Shaw,
and Joe L. Ruthven.
