Kindness Knows No
Limits in Wedowee
“When I was a boy and I would
see scary things in the news, my
mother would say to me, ‘Look
for the helpers. You will always
find people who are helping.’”
That message by Fred Rogers (You

in times like we are facing with
this COVID19 pandemic. We have
found people that are helping in
tremendous ways in our Lake Wedowee
area and we felt it is important to
share with our readers, too.

“Doug got the call from a person
that wanted to help,” Steven Lines,
general manager of WM Grocery
store, said. “The person wanted to

customers that really needed it.
“The looks on people’s faces when
they were told it was free was priceless,”
Lines said. “Some people needed
the help more than others and what
was really inspiring is the people
