New Group Dedicated
to Loving Lake Wedowee
Raise your hand if you spend a
little too much time on social media?
Yeah, us too. We also get bummed out
at all the negativity that has become
the norm the last few months.
It seems that it is easier to
be mean and critical on social
media, so we thought we would
do our part to change that
It’s why Lake Wedowee Life created
the facebook group I Love Lake
Wedowee. We have strong feelings
for Lake Wedowee so much that we
have built a business here and we
promote this amazing Lake Wedowee
Life virtually every single day!
We figured there were more
people on facebook that loved
Members of the group have
had a great time posting pictures,
asking for recommendations and
even winning a few prizes.
We moderate the group because
we want it to stay family friendly and
a positive voice for Lake Wedowee
new comers and veterans a like.
Lake Wedowee like us so we made
a group at the end of March.
We were slow to grow for a few
weeks, but then we got some super
fans that LOVE all things Lake
Wedowee and a few things Caldwell
and lets say the group went viral. As I
am introducing yall to the group, we
have 2,200 members and it grows daily.
It’s fun and we don’t do drama.
We often say, if you don’t want
your grandmother to see it, you
probably shouldn’t post it. This is
also not a group for politics. We
pride ourselves on being your “Good
News Neighbor” and the I Love
Lake Wedowee group is that too!
