Chick-fil-A Hero Meals
When Lindsey Morris posted on facebook
about feeding Chick-fil-A to Tanner East Alabama
staff, Kelly Caldwell, Editor of Lake Wedowee Life,
saw it thanks to a friend sharing about it.
“Well I happened to know somebody that
could help and I reached out,” Caldwell said.
David Daniels, the owner-operator of Chick-fil-A in
Carrollton, answered with a my pleasure and a happy to help.
“We understand the value of community involvement
and saw a great opportunity to serve those standing on
the front lines in the medical field. It is in our DNA to
want to serve those who are serving others! We are so
appreciative of those who continue to sacrifice daily to
serve those in their community,” Daniels said. “The very
least we could do was supply a hot meal with a delicious
Chick-fil-A sandwich in it. The two locations in Carrollton
have actually been doing a Hero’s Meal, where customers
can buy a meal for a healthcare hero. Then, the donated
meals have been delivered to the hospitals in the Tanner
Health System including Tanner East Alabama.
Daniels has matched the Hero’s Meals donations with
discounts and matching funds for countless appreciation
meals in West Georgia, as well as, Wedowee.

“The hero meal was developed to create a simple yet tasty
option to get food readily to those who are serving. It was
truly my honor and pleasure to be a part of this,” he said.”
