What a month February was for the residents and staff of Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility !
At the time of writing this , there is only a little over a week to go in February and we are looking very forward to March ! Between extreme cold temperatures and impressive snowfall , it has been a month to remember ( or try to forget ). We had some learning pains with our beautiful , new building which resulted in chilly rooms and busted sprinkler heads ; but in the end everyone was safe , there was no major damage and it is all things we can fix going forward .
With that very challenging week behind us , I would like to take a moment and recognize the often unsung heroes of LSHCF – our Maintenance team . Ryan and Adam , along with support from Ryan ’ s son Kyle , CMH Maintenance and CMH Security worked tirelessly for over a week to make sure lines were thawed , floods were cleaned up , pathways were cleared , employee cars were deiced , heating systems were fixed , sprinkler heads were repaired and ultimately our residents were kept safe and sound .
There are a lot of heroes working at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility but Ryan , Adam and the supporting team from CMH were definitely our Life Preservers in February . Hope to see you at the lake soon .
