You may notice a new name and look for Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility ’ s newsletter this month .
The Life Preserver seems an appropriate and well timed name change for a couple of reasons in 2021 . First , it is meant as a fun nod to our community and facility name as we celebrate our tenth year of being called “ Lake Stockton ” Healthcare Facility . A recognizable , positive image that brings our wonderful lake vibe front and center .
Second , and more importantly , it is a reference to the men and women of Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility — both the residents and employees . Our residents are why we are here and they keep us afloat with their love , patronage and wisdom . Their buoyancy throughout the difficult waves of this pandemic is truly inspirational . At the same time , it is an appropriate reference to the staff who fight as a life line for the residents every day against not just a hurricane of a virus but also the strong tides of time .
The residents and employees of Lake Stockton have proven to be “ Life Preservers ” for each other and we are proud to rename our newsletter to reflect this love and commitment .

Wall Calendars and Plastic Vases Needed
We are in need of wall calendars for resident rooms . Many places that have given us free business calendars in the past do not have them available this year . If you have extras we would appreciate donations . Also , we are unable to find plastic flower vases . They are much safer than glass . Any donations would be greatly appreciated ,
