We had six pages of spelling words lined up for the contest . By the time we had our winners there were only seven words left on the list ! The competition was tough but we had lots of laughs and good humored fun .
Welcome Sora Sanctuaries
Our aviary by the main entrance has a new look . Sora Sanctuaries from Salem , Missouri has provided four Gouldian finches , two diamond doves and three society finches . The artificial flowers add a touch of fall . We are anxiously waiting for the birds to nest !

Jerry and Sandy Courtney have been entertaining in this facility from spring until fall for many years . They spend the winters in Texas where they sing for healthcare facilities in the Texas area . October will be their last visit this year . We will miss them and look forward to their return in the spring .
