MHCA District IV Golden Age Games Oct. 12
Southwest Baptist University Campus, Bolivar, Mo.
The games begin at 9:30 a.m. and include basketball throw,
horseshoe toss, soccer kick, cow milking, bingo, hog calling and
quiz bowl. A nice lunch is served with live entertainment. A craft
contest includes many different classes and categories. Contest-
ants compete for individual medals and teams are scored on par-
ticipation and enthusiasm toward the Spirit Award. Visitors are wel-
come to attend and cheer for our team. If you would like to stay
for lunch please let us know before Sept. 20.
Our team is practicing hard and will do their best and have a
great time in the process!
Below is a group photo of last year’s team. We won second
place in the Spirit Award, Betty Jo Smith won a gold medal in cow
milking and bronze for her sewing craft entry and Sylvia Zitting
placed fifth with her latch hook craft.
