Activity Highlights
2018 Black Walnut Festival Parade
We filled the shaded yard on South Street to watch the parade on Sept. 29. The
weather was perfect and the parade was awesome! Seeing old friends, keeping
time with the bands and just enjoying
a day out was worth it all!

Lower left Faye Hammons celebrates
her 104th birthday with a bouquet of
fall flowers and a slice of cherry pie!
The next photo was taken in the Stock-
ton park as Faye attended the Procla-
mation Ceremony as proclaimed by
Governor Mike Parsons that the week
of Sept. 28 be officially Black Walnut
Week in the state of Missouri. The Ham-
mons family has contributed so much
to this community. We are proud of
Faye and her part in making this
company prosper.
