Activity Highlights
Left, Pastor Joe Grande from Faith Baptist
Church gave us encouragement from the
gazebo on April 1. We were thankful to learn
that our wireless mic comes in loud and clear
in the overhead speakers in the dining room.
Right, Jeanette York paid us a visit from the
Gazebo on April 16. She was wonderful and
played every request that was made.
John Warner kept his song schedule, also.
Contact Cheryl if you have talents you would
like to share with us, weather permitting.
Below, Charles Ryan and Bonnie Bishop play
tic-tac-tow with Stetson and Rina Barnes.
Zoe Combs, WWII Army
Nurse Veteran celebrat-
ed her 99th birthday on
April 4th surrounded by
her caring staff.
Mothers’ Day in Our New World
At the time of this newsletter going to print, we have no way to know when
our visitor restrictions will be lifted. We are continuing rigorous safety precau-
tions with every person and item that comes into our building. If you are send-
ing Mothers’ Day greetings by mail or any other delivery method please be
sure it arrives early to give us time to disinfect each item. Mail and other deliv-
eries are held for 24 hours to be sure no virus survives the trip.
Phone calls, window visits and virtual visits are alternatives to the personal visits
that we crave.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to forge
through this historic challenge.
