National Long Term Care Week
May 10-15, 2015
Ole’! We will celebrate our big week with a Mexican flare. The food,
games and fun will be centered around the flavor, color and festive
culture of our southern neighbors. See the insert for all of this week’s
special activities .

Mothers’ Day Reception

On Sunday, May 10 at 2:30
p.m., we will having cake,
coffee and punch in the main
dining room to celebrate our
mothers. Please join us in
honoring these special ladies.

Memorial Day
First known as Decoration Day, many Americans
use this as a day to reflect and remember veterans, family and
friends who have gone on by decorating the cemeteries with flowers. We will have a Memorial service in the south day room at 1:30
p.m. on Friday, May 22.

LSHF Beauty Pageant
Stockton High School students will be at LSHF on Wednesday, May 6,
to help us with the selection of our queen. All of our contestants will
be assisted by the high school students with their make-up, nails and
hair. Each contestant will then give a brief interview and be awarded
points by a panel of judges. The winner will compete in the MHCA
Pageant on June 10, 2015 at the Ramada Oasis Convention Center
in Springfield, Mo. First and second runners up will be appointed in
the case the Queen is unable to attend the MHCA pageant.
