It was a Full House at the Open House
An estimated 800 people attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
of the new ninety skilled bed facility. Administrators, board mem-
bers, city and county officials, staff, current residents and families,
potential residents and other members of this fine community
gathered to view and tour the 52,292 square foot facility. Every
square foot of this building was designed with personalized resident
care, security and comfort in mind.
Executive Director and CEO Donald J. Babb stated, “We’re just not
sure about the old building, yet. We’ll have to see it empty, weigh
our options and go from there. In the meantime, getting these resi-
dents moved to their new home in the new facility is our focus.”
At the time of this newsletter going to print, Feb. 15, we are still at
811 Owen Mill Road. We are awaiting the final inspection and
clearance from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior
Services.
