Independence Day Celebration
Tuesday, July 4, 8 p.m.
Join us in the southwest courtyard to celebrate
the birth of our nation. Watermelon will be served
as we wait for the sun to set. Fireworks will be lit at
dark. We welcome family and friends to join us.

Betty Jo Smith Represents LSHCF in the 2017 MHCA
District IV Beauty Pageant
On June 19, Betty Jo Smith plans
to participate in the pageant in
Springfield, Mo., at the Ramada
Inn Oasis Convention Center. The
time that this newsletter goes to
print precedes the pageant. Be
sure to check out our Facebook
page for details of this event.
We are also proud to have the
current reigning 2016 MHCA Dis-
trict IV Beauty Queen, Pauline
Ruth, residing in our facility. She,
too, plans to attend this pageant.
Pauline was a resident of Butter-
field Residential Care Center, a
sister CMH facility in Bolivar, at the
time of the pageant last year.
