Wanda Clark represents LSHCF at
District Pageant
The 42nd annual Missouri Health
Care Association District IV Beauty
Pageant was held on Wednesday,
June 1, at the Ramada Oasis
Convention Center in Springfield,
Mo. Wanda Clark, and 20 other
contestants competed for the crown
and title of District IV Ms. Missouri
Nursing Home. The pageant is very
elegant and fun for all of the
contestants, judges, families and staff.
Wanda finished the outing with lunch
at Cracker Barrel Restaurant with her
son, Tom. Her main course was fried
okra and she enjoyed more fried okra
for dessert!
Wanda received great support from her
family. Pictured from left to right: Evan
Longevin (great grandson), Amy
(granddaughter), Haley (great granddaughter)
and Tom Mechsner (son). Her grandson Jim
Hallam also dropped by to congratulate her
and wish her well. We are so proud of Wanda.
Pauline Ruth from Butterfield Residential
Care Center, a Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation residential care center,
was crowned District IV Queen (center). First Runner Up was Verla Bullard of
Lacoba Homes (right) and Second Runner Up was Betty Nielson from Willow Care
Nursing Home (left).
