Embracing Change with Community Support
We are excited about our soon-to-be move into the new facility. Some
adjustments will be easy, while other things will cause some stress. We will learn
to find our way, enjoy the spacious state of the art design, and settle in to our
new home in no time.
One of the big changes will be in scheduling activities to meet the prefer-
ences of a wide variety of ages, back grounds, personalities and cognitive func-
tions. To meet these challenges we will need even more support from our com-
munity. I will be contacting churches, schools and other organizations in hopes
of scheduling support for our residents, whether it be in a group setting or one-
on-one. Please call Cheryl Ahlers at 417-276-5126 if you or your group would be
interested in volunteering to help us meet the growing needs in our new home.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered in the past.
