Activity Highlights
Happy New Year!
Above, Joe Fox, Harold Pohl and Jo-
Ann LoVette sip eggnog and discuss
Harold’s near winning poker hand. He
was dealt four diamonds, face up only
to turn over the 2 of clubs! Left, Hazel
Wilson won a prize for her pair of kings.
Top right, Eula Halbrooks and Neva
Graves pose with the prize Neva won
with two pair in her poker hand. Right,
Alisa Bough gathers “snowballs” (rolled
up socks) thrown at her during the
party. Sylvia Zitting entices her to throw
them back! Betty Jo Smith, lower left,
and Marty Lahey, lower right, watch
for their next victims to pelt with their
stash of snowballs.
Eggnog, soda pop, chips and dip and
cheese and crackers were served at
the party. Of course, we had to sing
Auld Lang Syne to top off the festivi-
ties. Hazel reminded us that the song
was borrowed from the Scots!
Wishing all a wonderful
2018!
