Dementia Support Group Meeting Date
The Dementia Support Group will meet on Thursday , Feb . 23 . at 6:30 p . m . in the LSHCF classroom . This group is open to the public . For more information , please contact Debra Stockton at 417-276-5126 .
Safety Committee :
We would like to remind our families and friends how important it is to prevent over-loading our electrical outlets in resident rooms . Before you add any appliance , whether it be a lamp , radio , television , lift chair or anything , you must check with Ryan Keith or Kevin Costello . If we need to add a plug in bar it needs to be approved and installed properly . Thank you for your cooperation and attention to safety .
Laundry Note :
Unlabeled personal items cause clothing to end up in our lost and found areas . Our laundry staff are willing to label items for you . Please see our laundry staff to get items labeled and feel free to check our unclaimed items to see if you recognize anything that your loved one might be missing . We want to find the right owner and get these items returned .
This is also a good time to go through residents ’ closets to remove older items to make room for the new clothing we have received for Christmas . This may be done tactfully and discreetly if needed .
