Christmas Auction
Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2 p.m.
This annual event is definitely one of our favorites! Each resident is given $200 play money to spend at the auction. All
items up for bid are donated by staff, family and friends.
We have professional auctioneers, Joe Haines and Donnie
Oldham, call the bids and entertain the crowd. Some of
our favorite items are popcorn tins, sugar free and regular
candy, postage stamps, animated toys, cologne and jewelry. If you want to donate you can bring things in up to the
morning of the auction. (We have plenty of stuffed animals
at this time.)

Season Traditions
First and Last Snow Contest is a longtime tradition at LSHCF.
Staff and residents have locked in their predictions. Time
will tell who will win.
Other Traditions include caroling by area churches and organizations, sending Christmas cards to friends and family,
watching “It’s a Wonderful Life,” eating turkey, dressing
and all the trimmings, and spending time with loved ones.
These are traditions that never get old.
The Resident Christmas Party is scheduled for Friday, Dec.
23, 2 p.m. Santa Claus, party snacks and games will complete our Christmas fun. It’s hard to imagine another year is
about to close. The good news is that a new year is about
to begin! Don’t hesitate to drop by and spend a little holiday time with us!
