Thank You to :
Simmons Bank and Larry Harris for sponsoring our resident March birthday party .
The Stockton Middle School ARROW for showing us the linedance steps and showing us how to “ Dip , Baby ! Dip !” What fun !
Calico Clippers Quilt Gild for another quilt sampler to brighten up our halls .
Laughter Is the Best Medicine
Sylvia Zitting is our current Resident Council President . She has a very close-knit family and one of her daughters gave her a delightful little hen to share for laughs . The little toy chicken sings and lays three brightlycolored Easter eggs , cackling for each one .
March Employee of the
Month : Stacy Collins !
Stacy ’ s main department is environmental services , but she is a goal setter regarding “ other duties as assigned .” She helps in nutritional services when they need extra hands and has a constant eye out for the safety of our residents . Stacy is so unselfish and busy , we didn ’ t have a chance to get her photo posted here . We are proud to have Stacy on the LSHCF Team !
Safety Committee :
Look up when you can ’ t see around ! To make it possible to prevent collisions at intersections in our hallways there are “ Bubble Mirrors ” placed strategically throughout the building . We ask that all staff and visitors take advantage of these safety features and use them when approaching these blind spots .
An Ounce of Prevention ...
Please remember to get residents ’ names labeled on each new garment and personal item before leaving it with them . This is the best way to prevent items from ending up in our lost and found bin . It also prevents the disappointment felt when new items don ’ t find their way back to the proper room after the first trip to laundry .
April 30 is Hairstylist Appreciation Day
Diane Moore cuts , styles , perms and any other duties as needed in our in-house beauty shop . We appreciate her exceptional service and quality hair care that she gives our residents . Thanks , Diane !
