Mary Moore with 75 points (left) and Wanda Rhodes with 70 points were top bowlers on June 16, and that is only bowling three frames! Two weeks ago Mary Moore bowled a perfect game, five strikes in a row to score 90 points in three frames! As you can see, we have a very competitive group of bowlers at Lake Stockton! Activity Highlights A Taste of the Wild! Gooseberries! Wild fruit is plentiful and free for the taking in the Ozarks if you’re brave enough to risk encounters with the numerous biting insects! Our ladies reminisced the “Good Ol’ Days” while stemming a few berries that Cheryl brought in from her farm. She made gooseberry cobbler for the weekly coffee time on June 10 and gooseberry pie to serve with the Fathers’ Day fish fry June 19. Stockton Lions Club furnished the fryers, manpower and expertise, frying the fish for everyone on the facility grounds.
