WILDLIFE CAMP ( 4-10Y ) This camp will be jam packed with daily expeditions to the Middlefork Savanna and surrounding areas . Our professional staff will lead your child through a variety of field based activities , projects , and time spent interacting with the resident animals at the WDC . We will study the oak savanna , too ! Make sure you prepare to have your child indoors and outdoors . A peanut free snack and water should be put in a backpack and accompany your child each day ( also include sunscreen , a hat , and sunglasses if desired ).

ZOO CAMP ( COMPLETED GRADES 3-6 ) If you have a child that is an aspiring zookeeper or naturalist , this is the camp for you ! Each day we will learn a new aspect of professional zookeeping and conservation . Your child will spend time indoors and outdoors working shoulder-to-shoulder with our professional staff including feeding , animal enrichment , exhibit maintenance , and even helping to design an exhibit . A variety of technologies will be utilized including a software program we use to keep track of all of our animal husbandry data .
