LAKE FOREST LACROSSE ASSOCIATION PARTNERSHIP
The Lake Forest Recreation Department ( LFRD ) and Lake Forest Lacrosse Association ( LFLA ) have partnered to offer our community a robust and all-encompassing Boys Lacrosse system , ranging from Kindergarten through 8th Grade . This system includes entry level , clinic based , and travel programming . No matter what skill level or what commitment your athlete desires , our Boys Lacrosse system has a place for your athlete .
LEARN-2-LAX-4-JACK ( GRADES K-1 ) With the support of LFRD , LFLA will manage and implement an entry level program called Learn-2-Lax-4-Jack for boys Kindergarten through 1st Grade in the Spring . L2L4J is a great introduction for boys new to the sport with a focus on fundamental skills . There are no set teams or formal games , but the season will end with a fun Jamboree tournament .
Due to the incredible generosity of the Adams family via The 4 Jack Adams Memorial Fund , LFLA is able to offer Learn-2-Lax-4-Jack to all Lake Forest and Lake Bluff boys K-1st grade for only $ 50 , which includes all equipment ( stick and gloves for your son to keep and a helmet which must be returned at the end of the season ). L2L4J will be run by top coaches twice per week -- Let ' s Grow the Game !!

LOVE 2 LAX ( GRADES 2-6 ) With the support and on-field assistant coaching from LFLA , LFRD will manage and implement this clinic-based program in the Spring each season . This program is designed for the athletes that don ' t desire the competition and / or commitment of a travel league experience . Led by professional LFRD Staff , this program will emphasize FUN . Fundamental skill development will also be emphasized through drill work and honed through small group games and scrimmage play . This program will meet once a week for 90 minutes and will be broken up into grade specific groups . Athletes will receive a jersey but will need to supply their own equipment , including a helmet , mouth guard , lacrosse gloves , lacrosse stick , elbow pads , protective cup and cleats .

LFLA TRAVEL TEAMS ( GRADES 2-8 ) With the support of LFRD , LFLA is committed to building the pre-eminent youth lacrosse program in Illinois for Boy ’ s 2nd grade to 8th grade . The travel program is for players who are looking for the most competitive Spring lacrosse program that focuses on developing lacrosse skills and IQ -- up to three weekly practices , 8 IBLA league games , 3-4 tournaments , and the IBLA playoffs .
