JOHN LARSON

John is a Level III USSRA Squash certified professional who was a nationally ranked junior & college player and is looking to build strong youth and adult programs at the Lake Forest Recreation Department . Prior to coming to Lake Forest , he started the Chicago Junior Squash program and has taught in Chicago and Evanston . He welcomes ANYONE who is interested in becoming a part of our program .

PRIVATE SQUASH LESSONS

The Lake Forest Recreation Department has partnered with John to offer our community ’ s Squash enthusiasts the opportunity to gain the skills needed to develop their game through private lessons . These sessions will sharpen your existing skills or build your skill sets from scratch . Lesson plans will be tailored to your goals . Before your first session , John will schedule a conversation with you to discuss what you want to achieve in your session or sessions . All sessions must be paid for prior to stepping on the court . Registration must be done in person at the Service Desk of The Lake Forest Recreation Department .

COURT MEMBER BENEFITS

Being a Lake Forest Recreation Department Court Member gives you access to three multi-use courts . Lake Forest Recreation Department Court Members will receive the following benefits , during Lake Forest Recreation Center hours of operation , including the opportunity to become a Lake Forest Fitness Center Member for a small upcharge :

• Unlimited Court Usage

• Access to Fitness Center Locker Rooms

• One ‘ Bring a Guest ’ Punch Pass

» Limited to 10 punches per year .

• Free Racquetball and / or Squash League Play

» Registration required . See pg 53 for league information .

COURT MEMBER PROCEDURAL & PLAYING INFORMATION

Lake Forest Recreation Department Court Members MUST :

• Call at least 12 hours ahead to book court times : 847.810.3932 .

• Check-in upon arrival at the Lake Forest Fitness Center front desk .

• Present photo ID card at check-in and / or pay any guest fees .

• Players MUST wear non-marking shoes & protective eyewear while playing .

• Eyewear may be available upon request at check-in , please inquire .

• Racquetball Challenge Court Participation

» Fridays from 8:30 am - 11:30 am

• Squash Challenge Court Participation

» Saturdays from 7:00 am - 10:00 am

• Fitness Center Membership , for an upcharge of :
