Furthermore , look for some special events such as the Daddy-Daughter Princess Ball , Flannels & Flapjacks : Mother + Son Pancake Breakfast , and LFDA ' s Passion to Dance Concert .
The colder months bring the opportunity to participate in skating at West Park , snow-shoeing , cross country skiing , and other fun activities . Visit your neighborhood parks to walk and play . If we get the right kind of snow … have a snowman building contest with your neighbors . Take the time to enjoy Lake Forest when it ’ s dressed in white !
Spring will bring a GoWalk at Lake Forest College , a drive-in movie , and the opportunity to have your home " egged " by the Easter Bunny . Grasp those unexpected nice spring days and go for a walk or a bicycle ride . Don ’ t let the weather keep you inside ! Research has shown that connecting with the outdoors is vital to your health .
