LACROSSE - JUNIOR SCOUTS BOYS LACROSSE ( GRADES K-8 ) Teams in 2nd – 8th grade of The Junior Scouts Boy ’ s Lacrosse program will once again be participating in the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association League ( IBLA ). Teams will be fielded at the 2nd / 3rd grade ( U9 ), 4th / 5th grade ( U11 ), 6th / 7th grade ( U13 ), and 8th grade ( U15 ) levels and will practice twice a week and play games on the weekend . Players must attend an evaluation day , if there are enough players to field two teams at the same age group . The evaluation day will be announced in March , if it is needed .
Spring Training - To help get our Junior Scouts players ready for the season , there will be preseason training days on 3 Sundays in March ( 3 / 5 , 3 / 12 & 3 / 19 ). They will be held in the Lake Forest Recreation Department Gymnasium or the LFHS East Campus Field House and will run for one hour . The exact schedule will be distributed in March but no workout will begin before 1:00 PM . In order to take advantage of those training days you need to register before March 1st . LACROSSE - JUNIOR SCOUTS BOYS LACROSSE SKILLS & DRILLS ( GRADES K-1 )
This entry level Boys Lacrosse program is an excellent way for the beginner to hone their skills and work on their skill development . This program will practice one day during the week and have an inter-squad scrimmage game on the weekend . This program will focus on the fundamental skills of the sport , rules of the game , and having fun .
