PARKING PERMITS
Permits can be purchased by Lake Forest Residents at the Recreation Center .
NORTH LOT
One day parking guest permits for the north parking are $ 15 per permit ( maximum of 5 per year ).
SOUTH LOT
Resident Senior : $ 127 Resident : $ 161 Non-Resident : $ 910
PAVILION RESERVATIONS
$ 100 - 4 hour block . Includes 6 parking passes . Up to 9 extra passes can be purchased at $ 15 each . Last rental day Nov 1 . No rentals on Memorial Day Weekend , July 4th ( and the weekend prior ), and Labor Day Weekend .
BOATING CENTER
• Paddle boards and kayaks are available to rent .

THANK YOU , LAKE FOREST !
Lake Forest is one of the most special places on earth and has been my home my entire life . The WDC has been a big part of it for the past 25 years ( 38 total when you include my time running the athletic programs ), and there are so many people that I want to thank , as I ' ve been truly blessed .
First , a special thank you to my wife , Toni , and my daughters , Ofelia and Carolina , for supporting my dream for the past 25 years . Your support and our deep faith got us through every bump along the way ! Thank you to the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff communities for your support , friendship , and guidance . Thank you to the City of Lake Forest and all the departments I have collaborated with over the years . I consider many of you my friends , and this is the best place to work . To the many staff , college interns , and volunteers I have interacted with and mentored , thank you for making this place so special ! And to our amazing animals , you already know I relate far better to my furry , feathery , and scaly friends than I do with humans .
So , a fond farewell to all , and now onto my next chapter . You can be sure I ' ll still have animals to care for , continue teaching people about wildlife and the environment , enjoy retirement , and explore many natural areas ! Thank you ! - Rob Carmichael , Curator
