Court Sports

The goal of Lake Forest Squash is to provide a progressive system for young athletes interested in the sport of Squash Racquets . The Lake Forest Recreation Department Athletics Academy and U . S . Squash accredited pro , John Larson have partnered to offer a Junior Squash Development System . It is our hope to develop young athletes through a series of tiers and program options as they work their way up to the High School level of competitive Squash and ultimately , continue to play Squash into their adulthood .

Lake Forest Squash

TIER 1 – LAKE FOREST LITTLE SQUASHERS ( 6-7Y ) Little Squashers is tier 1 of the Lake Forest Squash system and is meant for the youngest of squash players . A focus on fun squash related activities will be stressed . Basic exercise movements related to squash development will be utilized and entry racquet skills will be taught . Little Squashers will graduate to tier 2 based on maturity and a skill development evaluation .

TYPE 1 Session 5 Sessions R / NR $ 10 /$ 12 $ 50 /$ 60
TIER 2A – LAKE FOREST JUNIOR SQUASH ( GRADES 2-8 ) Practice groups will be organized by 3 levels : beginners , intermediates , and experienced players . At an introductory meeting , players will be placed in a level according to skill and experience evaluated by our pro . Players can play once or twice a week depending on interest . Each event will be 60 minutes
