DRAWING AND PAINTING ( 6-9Y ) Be the next Picasso ! Join this class and spend time enjoying drawing and painting . The media will include pencil , pastels , acrylic , watercolor , and tempera paints . Now is the time to develop your artistic style . This class will be held outside at Stirling Hall Art Center . In the event of inclement weather we will move indoors into a classroom .

HIKE & CREATE ( 7-10Y ) Let ' s go for a walk around the wooded forests surrounding Stirling Hall , while collecting nature ' s treasures to use in creating fun art crafts . This mixed media program will include painting , drawing and clay activities all completed outside on Stirling ' s picnic tables .

CERAMIC TURKEY CENTERPIECE WORKSHOP ( 6-11Y ) Decorate your holiday table with an adorable ceramic turkey . We will be handbuilding a fun turkey using clay . Your own cut out clay hand prints will be used for the turkey feathers . This little fellow will become a favorite holiday keepsake for years to come . Underglazes will be used to paint our creations and a kiln firing will take place .

Our clay ornaments and candy canes will be created and then painted with colorful glazes . The ceramics will be fired in the art center ' s kiln . These adorable ornaments will be keepsakes for years to come .
