Lake Forest Junior Squash
JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ( 8-14Y ) With classes ranging in size from 4-8 players , Little Squashers ( grades 3-5 ) and Beginner Squash ( grades 6-7 ) will provide an introduction to racquet sports , focus on improving hand-eye coordination , and offering instruction on forehand , backhand , serve , return of serve , footwork , and beginning court movement . Intermediate Classes will be 2-4 members and will introduce match play with continued focus the basics .

ELITE TRAINING PROGRAM ( 10-18Y ) This program is for junior-level players who have graduated from the Intermediate Junior Development Program and are looking to develop as a competitive squash player . Players who qualify for this program will learn the technical , tactical , psychological , and physical requirements necessary to successfully compete in local , regional , and national tournaments . As part of the program , our players will compete in the Chicago Junior Travel Squash circuit , a monthly tournament program of single day tournaments that runs from November through April each year .

Our after school practice program will include expert coaching by our pros in drilling , agility , fitness , and match play .

LAKE FOREST SCOUTS - HIGH SCHOOL SQUASH TEAM ( 14-18Y ) This program is a member of The Chicagoland High School Squash League and plays a schedule of matches against other high schools culminating with a year-end championship . Our after school practice program will include expert coaching by our pros in drilling , agility , fitness , and match play . During the first week of the program , there will be player assessments and challenge matches to determine JV and Varsity teams . Varsity will practice from 5:00 - 6:00 pm Mondays and Wednesdays and JV will practice from 6:00 - 7:00 pm the same days . Friday practices will be for make-up practices .
