FLAG FOOTBALL HOUSE LEAGUE (GRADES K-8)
Catch the excitement of Flag Football! Basic skills such as catching, kicking, throwing, blocking, pulling flags, playing defense, and receiving hand-offs will
be taught and practiced. Boys and girls will practice all of the skills necessary to play the game of football without serious risk of injury. For safety reasons
and to promote skill development, kids in the grades 1-2 division will use junior-sized safety balls and their coaches will play the quarterback position.
Kids in the grades 3-4 division will play the quarterback position and use official junior-sized footballs. Established rotation systems will be used in both
divisions. If tackle football isn't your game but you still like playing football, then the grades 5-8 flag football program is perfect for you. This program will
be 'pick-up' flag football games. Teams will be formed each week and games will last for one hour.

FLAG RUGBY (GRADES 1-8)
This program is designed to give young players a fun, safe, and enjoyable sporting experience. The rules are simple and the game is easy to learn. Flag
Rugby is a simple form of rugby which teaches the fundamentals of ball handling, spatial awareness, movement, decision making, tactics, and strategy -
skills that translate well to all sports. In Flag Rugby, there will be no rucks, mauls, scrums, or lineouts. Rugby involves many elements that kids love such
as running, passing, catching, kicking, and supporting teammates. The goal of the program is to provide the participant a safe and proper instruction,
basic rules and techniques of the game, and physical conditioning to excel and enjoy the competitive and physical game.
