Court Sports Squash Lessons & Services LAKE FOREST RECREATION DEPARTMENT SQUASH PRO JOHN LARSON John is a Level III USSRA Squash certified professional who was a nationally ranked junior & college player and is looking to build strong youth and adult programs at the Lake Forest Recreation Department. Prior to coming to Lake Forest, he started the Chicago Junior Squash program and has taught in Chicago and Evanston. He welcomes ANYONE who is interested in becoming a part of our program. PRIVATE SQUASH LESSONS The Lake Forest Recreation Department has partnered with John to offer our community’s Squash enthusiasts the opportunity to gain the skills needed to develop their game through private lessons. These sessions will sharpen your existing skills or build your skill sets from scratch. Lesson plans will be tailored to your goals. Before your first session, John will schedule a conversation with you to discuss what you want to achieve in your session or sessions. All sessions must be paid for prior to stepping on the court. Registration must be done in person at the Service Desk of The Lake Forest Recreation Department. PRIVATE SQUASH LESSON PRICING PACKAGES (PER PERSON) 45-MINUTE SESSIONS RESIDENT RATES 1 Lesson $80 2 Lessons $150 3 Lessons $210 FREE SQUASH OPEN HOUSE - INTRODUCTION TO SQUASH Come play with our pros to learn what squash and our program is all about. Every second Saturday at noon each month, our squash pros will conduct an OPEN HOUSE to play, teach, and educate you about the sport and what our program offers anyone interested in squash. The hour-long clinic session are free of charge, but all participants must register either at our Service Desk or online at www.lfrec.com. JUNIOR SQUASH PROGRAM (NEXT PG) In addition to private lessons for juniors and adults, there are three stages to the Lake Forest Junior Squash Program at the Lake Forest Recreation Department. First, the Junior Development Program (JDP), for those just learning the game. Second, the Elite Travel Program, for those players who have graduated from JDP and are interested in competitive tournament play, either locally or regionally. Lastly, the Jr. Scouts High School and Middle School team programs, which features competition against other local school as part of the Chicagoland Squash League. www. LF Par ks andRec .c om 51
