Jazz Academy Classes
Our academy jazz classes blend the technical styles of ballet and modern with an emphasis on line and movement
quality. Jazz showcases individual style and is set to various styles of energetic music.
C LEVEL CLASSES ARE CONTINUATIONS OF THEIR NUMBERED LEVEL COUNTERPARTS. SEE PG 42 FOR MORE INFO.
INTRO TO JAZZ (6-7Y): Intro to Jazz is a beginning jazz class for 6 & 7 year olds.
JAZZ 1 (8Y+): Jazz 1 is a beginning jazz class for ages 8 and up.
JAZZ 2: Jazz 2 is a beginning/intermediate jazz class. Teacher recommendation only.
JAZZ 3: Jazz 3 is an intermediate jazz class. Teacher recommendation only.
JAZZ 4: Jazz 4 is an intermediate/advanced jazz class. Teacher recommendation only.
JAZZ 5: Jazz 5 is an advanced jazz class. Teacher recommendation only.
JAZZ JUMPS & TURNS 1/2: Jazz Jumps and Turns 1/2 is an extension of our level 2 and 3 Jazz syllabus. Dancers will continue to grow with
combinations filled with direction changes, level changes, multiple turns and leaps.
JAZZ JUMPS & TURNS 3/4: Jazz Jumps & Turns 3 is an intermediate/advanced supplemental skills class. Teacher recommendation only.
