Tap Academy Classes
Tap dance is an upbeat form of American dance that was influenced greatly by African rhythms and Irish dance styles
and utilizes tap shoes and the floor as percussive instruments. Our tap program focuses on principles of rhythm,
musicality, tap history and performance quality.
INTRO TO TAP (6-7Y): Intro to Tap is a beginning tap class for 6 & 7 year olds.
TAP 1 (8Y+): Tap 1 is a beginning tap class for ages 8 and up.
TAP 2: Tap 2 is a beginning/intermediate tap class. Teacher recommendation only.
TAP 3: Tap 3 is an intermediate tap class. Teacher recommendation only.
TAP 4: Tap 4 is an intermediate/advanced tap class. Teacher recommendation only.
TAP 5: Tap 5 is an advanced tap class. Teacher recommendation only.
