Dans un appartement parisien , Humam vit en colocation avec deux amis trentenaires depuis ses études . Il y a la flamboyante Warda , devenue journaliste pour crier la vérité au monde ; Souleymane , ostéopathe plus préoccupé par la cause animale que par l ’ Homme ; et Humam , écrivain raté qui cherche sa place entre parisianisme et identité arabe , transi d ’ amour pour Warda , totalement paralysé lors des avances très sexy de celle-ci . L ’ équilibre du trio se délite lorsque Warda décide de mener une enquête sur le massacre de juifs en Irak au début des années 40 , les deux garçons ne la soutenant pas . Peu à peu , alors que Souleymane s ’ éloigne de l ’ appartement , la relation entre la jeune femme éruptive et l ’ auteur tourne à la confrontation . In a Parisian apartment , Humam has lived with two thirty-something friends since he was a student . There ’ s the fiery Warda , who ’ s become a journalist to shout the truth out to the world ; Souleymane , an osteopath who ’ s more concerned with the animal cause than with mankind ; and Humam , a failed writer searching where he fits in between Parisianism and Arab identity , head over heels in love with Warda , but paralyzed by her very sexy advances . The trio › s equilibrium unravels when Warda decides to investigate the massacre of Jews in early 1940s Iraq , with the two boys not supporting her . Gradually , as Souleymane moves away from the apartment , the relationship between the eruptive young woman and the author escalates into a confrontation — quite a duel , with a great deal of humor .
