Treasures on Display Lana Jellison Chandler I treasure things from the past, especially if they belonged to relatives and friends that have been dear to me. I found these “ladder” shelves several years ago at a flea market sale and thought they would serve as unique decor in a kitchen or laundry room. I now have one in both rooms!  The ladder shelf in the laundry room serves as a place to show off some small Fisher Price toys, little knickknacks, and metal containers that were all part of my childhood and teen years. I share a handkerchief, from my collection of ladies’ vintage handkerchiefs, on the ladder shelf as well. It can also be used for the storage of small cleaning supplies.  I found that the ladder shelf in the kitchen could serve several purposes, too. I could show off my vintage iron toothpick holders and other mementos, besides having a place for a few canned goods, rolled kitchen towels, and small spices and oils. It works great to save space in a small kitchen and makes for a fun conversation piece to our guests! a Lana Jellison Chandler is married to Tim Chandler; they are evangelists and southern gospel artists who reside in Greenfield, Tennessee. Lana is the mother of two daughters, Tiffany and Lyndsey. Caroline Wickett and husband, Fred, reside in Zealand, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the mother of two sons and “Mawmaw” to four grandsons.
