Lake MX is definitely for you!
May 15 to September 30. The family-
friendly campground by Peter’s Pond
features 62 power and water serviced
sites, token operated showers, numerous
open spaces with firepits and picnic
tables, and a playground. This location
is home to a spectrum of outdoor
opportunities including fishing, boating,
hiking and wildlife viewing. Above the
boat launch area, an exciting expansion
is currently underway. Anticipated to
open later this season, this new phase
will feature nearly 40 power, water and
sewer serviced sites. Pack your gear,
bring your camera and get ready for an
unforgettable adventure. Paddle River
Dam is located just off Highway 43, about

Pembina River to the storied Lac Ste.
Anne itself, waterborne activities abound.
A dozen boat launches cater to larger
craft, while our many canoeing,
kayaking and river tubing opportunities
entice the more casual boating crowd.
Off-roading and motorsports adrenaline
draws locals and visitors alike with
prime ATV courses near Stanger and
Devils Lake, plus the always exciting
Sangudo Speedway races. And when the
mercury drops, the fun certainly doesn’t
stop. Events such as SnoMo Days and
Numb Bum are avidly anticipated winter

Rustling aspen woods, sparkling blue
lakes and endless rolling hills provide a
truly stunning backdrop for a memorable
day on one of the courses within the
County. Many of the local golf resorts
offer a variety of seasonal RV camping
or play and stay options, so throw your
clubs in the trailer and plan to spend a
week with the family. Treat yourself to
something special in the pro shops, drink
and dine at one of the club eateries, and
thoroughly enjoy one of Canada’s hidden
golfing gems. This season, tee off at the
Alberta Beach Golf Resort, the Rich Valley
Golf Course, the Silver Sands Golf Resort
or the Mayerthorpe Golf and Country
Club, and experience some of the finest
holes you’ll ever play.
DEVILS LAKE MX

Seasonal. Home to one of Canada’s top
national race teams, Devils Lake MX is a
motocross facility that caters to seasoned
racers and newcomers alike. The 320-
acre facility hosts five annual sanctioned
events that draw more than 150 racers
each year. There are two different course
tracks — plus a dedicated mini-track for
the youngsters. Camping is also available
at the track on select dates. Devils Lake
MX provides private lessons and racing
schools for every age and experience

SANGUDO SPEEDWAY
Seasonal. Sangudo Speedway
marked its 25-year anniversary in 2016,
celebrating a quarter century of providing
fast-paced family fun to the region. On
race weekends, the Speedway hosts
racers ranging from the age of five to 85
as they test their wits and skills on this
3/8 mile dirt racetrack. Events are usually
held once a month during the summer,
and are not to be missed. Racing action
abounds, and includes classes such
as super entry, mini stock, street stock,
super stock, modified, and 600 sprints
race. There’s even a race called mini
sprint — a class for kids five and under.
If motor oil runs through your veins, you
must make your way to the Speedway.
EDEN NORTH SKYDIVING

Seasonal. Ever wanted to cross
skydiving off your bucket list? At Eden
North Skydiving, you’ll jump with
instructors with more coaching and
instructor experience than anywhere else
in western Canada. Eden North owner
and Chief Instructor, Lyal Waddell has
nearly 20 thousand jumps under his
belt, and spent two decades training
the Canadian Forces Skyhawks. Rest
assured, the safety and training are
second to none. Built on 160 acres
with its own airstrip, this spectacular
facility surrounded by scenic parkland is
definitely where you want to skydive —
whether it’s your first jump or your fiftieth.
