7,265
women applied to our
bootcamp program This shows how thousands of women now have an interest
in pursuing careers in tech (and believe us, a few years ago,
this looked very different!). All of them went through our
introductory course to JavaScript, getting a first bite of what
coding is all about.
473 We doubled our capacity compared to 2017 and for the first
time this year we offered the UX design track in addition to
Front-End Development, responding to a growing market

Our graduates are now working in amazing companies
such as Groupon, Avanade, Citibanamex and Engie.
We’ve also worked with our network of hiring companies
to ensure they can provide them with the right environment
to thrive.
This represents 44% more companies than 2017, adding up
to a total of 440 companies that have now hired talent from
Laboratoria. That means a lot more teams with women
designing and building technology!
We helped our graduates nearly triple their income.
The average post-program salaries of our graduates was
US$900 (net) a month, which on average, represents 2.7x
times more than their income before the program.
We worked with 30 companies across 14 different
industries, helping them upskill their talent to embrace
digital transformation. The coolest part? More than 85%
of those companies with tech teams in place, then hired
our graduates.
