Our Priorities for 2019 01 Leave our applicants with something great We have thousands of applicants every year and unfortunately, due to capacity and fit, we cannot take them all in. In 2019 we want to pilot developing more remote content to help them enhance their skills and motivate them to continue advancing in this journey in tech. 02 Become the best tech hiring partner for leading companies in Latam We’ll strive to continue improving the hiring services we provide to companies by understanding and anticipating their needs, and applying better data and technology. Our goal: to get any great company in need of junior developers or UX designers to come to Laboratoria. 03 04 With over 1,000 alumnae, it is them who are driving change across the region. They are changing how their companies work and build software, and are inspiring thousands of women more. In 2019 it is our priority to co-design a community that can help them grow as leaders in the sector. In 2019 we want to do the exploratory work and build the partnerships needed to launch our 6th training center in the region. Colombia is the most likely site given it’s fast growing tech sector and the interest we’ve received from players there. If you can help in any way in this scale-up journey, please let us know! Grow an Alumnae Community that can help our graduates thrive Prepare to launch one new market in Latin America 05 Increase our influence as key drivers of diversity in tech Over the past five years we have become an important stakeholder in the conversation around diversity and inclusion in tech. In 2019 we want to take this voice further, building communities of practice with fellow organizations and companies to design and advance a common agenda that can turn our growing tech sector into an example of diversity and inclusion for the world. 26|Laboratoria Impact Report Laboratoria Impact Report|27
