APHL Continues to Expand Fellowship Programs for 2022

APHL recruited for fellows and host laboratories for a large cohort of fellows to begin in summer 2022 . An unprecedented number of subject area fellowships are available this year , including :
Bioinformatics Fellowship
Biorisk Management Fellowship
Environmental Health Laboratory Fellowship
Food Safety Laboratory Fellowship
Infectious Diseases Laboratory Fellowship
Informatics Fellowship
Quality Management Laboratory Fellowship
Ronald H . Laessig Newborn Screening Fellowship
A small cohort of Bioinformatics , Environmental Health , and Infectious Diseases Laboratory Fellows were placed in APHL member local and state public health laboratories in early 2022 .
APHL plans to launch a new public health laboratory internship program in the coming months . Interns will be current students or recent graduates interested in a 12-16 week full-time or part-time experience in a public health laboratory .
