fellows News from APHL Laboratory Fellowship Programs by Heather Roney, MA, manager, Fellowship Programs A PHL completed 2017 recruitment for three of its fellowship programs—Antimicrobial Resistance, Bioinformatics and Infectious Diseases. We are pleased with the number and quality of applications received for fellows and host laboratories for these programs. Applications are currently under review, and fellows are expected to start their assignments in APHL member and CDC laboratories beginning in July. The Ronald H. Laessig Memorial Newborn Screening Fellowship recently completed its application process for host laboratories. One NBS Fellow will be selected to start in July.
