EL ADIÓS QUE NO ES .

Mucho hablamos de dejar ir , de soltar cosas viejas para abrirnos a otras nuevas ; y podría ser un gran ejercicio de vida , el ir por ahí avanzando con los brazos abiertos a lo nuevo , sin temor a soltar lo que ya no debe ser . ¿ Pero qué pasa cuando la vida nos pone frente a un adiós que no debió suceder ? Tal vez por decisión personal o por circunstancias propias de nuestra evolución como seres humanos , el decir adiós , muchas veces está ligado a la incertidumbre y a la sensación de que tal vez actuamos de forma precipitada ante tal decisión .
Creo que es válido hacer frente a esa intuición que nos dice que podría existir un adiós equivocado ; tomar el teléfono , escribir un texto o una carta y reconciliarnos con el pasado . Puede ser que la reconciliación no sea para volver , pero sí para sanar , para perdonar y para poder olvidar . Podría ser que ése adiós no debió ser , o puede ser que ése adiós ahora nos ayude a crecer con el simple y complejo acto de volver .
THE GOODBYE THAT IS NOT .
We talk a lot about letting go , of letting go of old things to open ourselves to new ones ; and it could be a great exercise in life , going around moving forward with open arms to the new , without fear of letting go of what no longer should be . But what happens when life puts us in front of a farewell that should not have happened ? Perhaps by personal decision or by circumstances of our evolution as human beings , saying goodbye is often linked to the uncertainty and the feeling that perhaps we acted in a hasty way before such a decision .
I think it is valid to face that intuition that tells us that there could be a wrong goodbye ; take the phone , write a text or a letter and reconcile with the past . It may not be a reconciliation to return , but to heal , to forgive and to forget . It could be that that goodbye should not have happened , or maybe that goodbye now helps us grow with the simple and complex act of returning .
