that they need to know and assume from puppies their
"position" in the family and outside of it.
♣ We must teach them basic rules of
coexistence through learning
Sexual cycle and sterilization
♣ Bitches can have their first heat between the 6 and
10 months of age. Cats can have several heats and their
cycles are influenced by the environmental temperature
and sunlight.
♣ Vaginal bleeding is a normal occurrence in bitches
and occurs in the first phase of the cycle. This phase
lasts 10 days on average but may vary between 3 days
and 3 weeks
♣ In this phase the males are attracted, but the
females are not yet receptive.
