I AM, NOT BLACK and YOU ARE NOT WHITE
Labels and stigmas based on racism seem more prevalent than ever. People often encounter situations where they are misjudged or mistreated because of assumptions others make based on their appearance, education, age, or gender. It has become increasingly important to get to know someone before passing judgment. We could all be a little more empathetic. No one likes being judged because of how they look or where they live. To end all "isms" and the judgments that are passed as a result we have to be appreciative of everyone;s differences. Then we may realize we are not so different after all.
