La Magnif ica Presenza (The Magnificent Presence) - Pietro’s only dream is to become a
famous actor. Moving to Rome, he shares a tiny apartment with one bed with his cousin
Maria. While working in a bakery at night making croissants for Rome’s bakeries and bars,
he also works on his acting dream. His luck turns when he finds a huge, beautiful house
at a knock down price in one of Rome’s best areas. Shortly thereafter, weird things start
happening there. The adventure begins when he realizes his house has some unforeseen
guests. This charming film garnered 6 wins and 11 nominations including the Italian Oscar
nomination for Best Actor, Italy’s Golden Globes for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress.
