Bien plus qu’une association, Elbazar est en passe de
devenir l’un des phénomènes culturels incontournables
en Tunisie. L’objectif est simple : rassembler les jeunes
créateurs et le public autour d’événements éphémères,
simples et conviviaux.
More than an association, Elbazar is on its way to becoming a
major cultural phenomenon in Tunisia. The objective is simple :
gather the young creators and the public around ephemeral,
simple and friendly events.
la tête de ce projet figurent deux amies, Amel Gaaloul et Elodie Dessors, réunies par
un vif intérêt pour la mode et la création. Si l’idée d’origine était d’organiser un vide
dressing, leur plan s’est rapidement transformé en une association lorsqu’elles ont
constaté un réel manque de promotion de cette jeunesse tunisienne de plus en plus
créative et dont elles font partie.
Un mois et demi plus tard et après de nombreuses recherches et sélections, la première édition d’Elbazar était lancée. Au total, 18 créateurs d’horizons et de styles différents étaient réunis au café-restaurant La Galette, le temps d’une journée pour exposer leurs collections dans
une ambiance à la fois festive et familiale. Les créatrices d’Elbazar mettent un point d’honneur à sélectionner
des artistes talentueux et dotés d’un style singulier.
Suite à l’énorme succès de cette première édition, Elbazar a organisé une deuxième édition qui a eu lieu dans
le centre culturel L’Agora les 13 et 14 septembre dernier. Cette fois-ci les visiteurs ont pu admirer et acheter les
collections de 24 jeunes créateurs dont certains ont fait le déplacement depuis la France et le Maroc.
Ainsi l’association a rapidement porté ses fruits puisque dès la première édition d’Elbazar, quelques créateurs
ont éveillé la curiosité de médias étrangers. Pour le moment aucune date n’a été arrêtée pour une troisième
édition mais restez alerte, Elbazar est un rendez-vous à ne pas manquer ! I
wo friends who share a passion for fashion and creation are leading this project, Amel
Gaaloul and Elodie Dessors. The original idea was to organize a dressing sale, their plan
quickly changed into an association when they noticed a real lack of promotion of the more
and more creative Tunisian youth to which they belong.
A month and a half later, after several researches and selections, the first edition of Elbazar
was launched... 18 creators with various backgrounds and styles were gathered at the caférestaurant La Galette for one day to show their collections in a festive and family atmosphere.
The leaders of Elbazar make it a point to select talented and singular artists.
Following the huge success of this first edition, Elbazar organized a second edition which took place in the
Agora cultural centre on September 13th and 14th. This time visitors could admire and buy the collections of
24 young creators, some coming from France and Morocco.
Since the first edition of Elbazar, a few creators aroused the curiosity of foreign medias, therefore the
association quickly bore fruits. For now, no date has been set for the third edition but stay tuned, Elbazar is an
appointment not to be missed ! I
