Venus de 30 pays, Brésil, Japon, France, Portugal, Espagne, Australie, Royaume Uni, etc… chaque artistes a investi librement les murs en accord avec l’authenticité du village. Apparaissent alors, une tête de chat, un poulpe mutant, un visage, une main géante, parfaitement inscrit dans leur environnement avec une réelle valeur esthétique. Comme un effet d’optique chaque graffiti est une histoire à ciel ouvert, qui nous invite à parcourir le village avec un oeil neuf. Une manière de questionner un lieu, et de révéler son architecture. Le Street Art crée une relation interactive, un art éphémère qui appartient à chacun de nous. A la tête du projet Djerbahood nous retrouvons Mehdi ben Cheikh, fondateur de la galerie Itinerrances, que nous avons découvert lors de l’événement Tour Paris 13. Un événement qui a réuni les plus grands graffeurs dans cette tour vouée à la destruction et qui a suscité un grand intérêt auprès du public. From 30 countries, Brazil, Japan, France, Portugal, Spain, Australia, United Kingdom, etc. The artists let their imagination transform the walls with respect to the village’s authenticity. A cat’s head, a mutant octopus, a face, a giant hand, fit perfectly into their environment, with a real aesthetic value. Like an optical effect, each graffiti is an open air story which invites us to wander and observe the village with fresh eyes. A way to question a place and to reveal its architecture. The Street Art creates an interactive relation, an ephemeral artwork that belongs to each one of us. During the event Tour Paris 13, we have discovered Mehdi ben Cheikh, founder of the Itinerrances gallery and head of the Djerbahood project. Tour Paris 13 brought together the greatest graffiti artists in a tour doomed to destruction. The event aroused great interest among the general public. I 1.
